Mr. Eriberto Alvarez, 83, of Colorado City died Tuesday, December 21, 2004
at his residence. Funeral mass will be held Thursday at St. Ann's Catholic
Church with Father George Varakukalm officiating. Burial followed in the
Mitchell County Cemetery under the direction of' Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Alvarez was born to Filiberto and Francisca Sanchez Alvarez on June I,
1921 in Presidio, Texas. He married Susana Velarda in September 1943 in
Colorado City. He was a lifelong resident of Colorado City und a loving
husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Susana Alvarez of Colorado City; one daughter,
Nora Garner of Marion; three sons, Eddie Alvarez, Armondo Alvarez and
Alfredo Alvarez, all of Colorado City; seven grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren; three brothers, Anastacio Alvarez of Loraine, Rene
Alvarez of Colorado City and Rueben Alvarez of Snyder; one sister Romelia
Castro of Amarillo.
