Funeral services for Helen Harms, age 83 of Seminole, Texas will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Pastor William Giesbrecht officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harms was born in Mexico on September 29, 1938 to Maria (Bergen) and David Thiessen. She married Peter Harms in Mexico on August 19, 1962. She was a member of Old Colony Mennonite Church and had an unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior; she was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading her bible, working jigsaw puzzles, and raising her chickens. She loved her family and extended church family dearly and always showed kindness and love to anyone who came to her home.
Helen Harms passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Peter Harms in 1995, five brothers, one sister, and one grandson.
