HEREFORD - Wilma Ruth Carmichael, 88, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in West Park Cemetery with Dr. Darren Skinner, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Lamar Garden Room of Kings Manor/Westgate. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carmichael was born May 9, 1916, in a ranch house northeast of Black to William Grey Harris and Ruth Annetta Laughlin Harris. She married Pete L. Carmichael on July 14, 1934, in Clovis, N.M.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Bill Carmichael of San Antonio and Kenneth Carmichael of Aurora, Mo.; a daughter, Shari Carmichael James of Hereford; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Hereford Senior Citizens, 426 Ranger, Hereford, TX 79045.
