Funeral services for Peter Redecop, age 92 of Seagraves, Texas will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Minister Willie Giesbrecht officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Redecop was born February 7, 1930 in Durango, Mexico to Katharina (Wiens) and Jacob Redecop. He married Anna Zacharias October 1, 1950 in Durango, Mexico. He was a member of Old Colony Mennonite Church. Peter's life was centered around farming and working God's land. He loved the Lord and family gatherings.
Peter Redecop passed away at Yoakum County Hospital April 21, 2022. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Anna, March 10, 2020, one son, two daughters, four brothers, two grandsons, and one granddaughter.
