Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen Carol Jones, 29, who died at 5:45 a.m. Monday in Deaf Smith County Hospital after a long illness, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Branch President Kendon O. Anderson officiated. Burial was in West Park Cemetery by Gililland Funeral Homee [sic].
Born Sept. 17, 1940, at Powers Lake, N.D., Mrs. Jones married Alvin Jones on Oct. 18, 1963 at Powers Lake. They moved to Castro County the same year where they resided 12 miles south of Hereford.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Charles Swanson of Powers Lake; two sons, Russell Wayne of Hereford and Jeffery Allen of Powers Lake; three brothers, Larry Charles and John Swanson; and a sister, Barbara Ann Swanson.
