Mrs. Matthews Funeral to Be Held Sunday

Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock services will be held in the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Sarah Virginia Matthews, 82, who died Friday morning at her home in Abilene.

Mrs. Matthews had lived in Hereford many years before moving to Abilene three years ago.

Rev. R.H. Cagle, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery unde [sic] the direction of Gililland Funeral home.

Survivors are three sons, L.J. of Hereford, Ted of Abilene and W.J. of Eastland; a daughter, Miss Odie Matthews of Abilene, and four grandchildren.
