Mrs. B.W. Miller Dies Wednesday
Mrs. B.W. Miller, 78, passed away peacefully while asleep early Wednesday morning after an illness of many years, in the home in northeast Hereford.
Mr. and Mrs. Miller and her family came to Hereford in 1902 from their home in Gainesville, Cook county, Texas, and lived here since that time.
Surviving her are five children, Dr. C.H. Miller, Overton; Mrs. R.A. Hall, Delta, Colorado; Al Miller, Stinnett, and John and Tennie Miller, Hereford; three sisters, Mrs. S.E. Weaver, Houston; Mrs. A.C. Miller, Amarillo, and Mrs. I.M. Cates, Crosbyton. One brother, A.D. Worley, Chillicothe and 19 grand children and nine great grand children.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the local Baptist church, having joined that faith in Cook county about 40 years ago.
Mrs. Miller, better known as "Grandmother" Miller by those near to her, who affirm she always lived an unselfish life and was a loving mother and devoted wife.
Funeral services are being held at the residence this afternoon at 4:30, conducted by Rev. V.M. Cloyd. The remains will be laid to rest in West Park Cemetery.
Out-of-town relatives present at the funeral this afternoon are Dr. C.H. Miller, Mrs. Al Miller and children, Margarete and Jack, Mr. and Mrs. I.M. Cates and son, Thorney, Mrs. A.C. Miller and daughter, Miss Amelia, and Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Goodson of Amarillo. Mrs. Goodson is a niece of the deceased.
