Funeral Services and burial has already taken place for Wanda Newman 85, of Saginaw, Texas and formerly of Hereford. Mrs. Newman walked into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior and was greeted by family members who preceded her in death.

Wanda Nell Wilson was born April 4, 1935 in Swearington, Texas A. L. and Lydia Cardease (Adams) Wilson. She graduated from Stratford High School in 1954. Wanda met and fell in love with Joel Newman, they married November 8, 1956. Wanda attended West Texas State University and got her degree in Accounting.The Newman’s lived in Hereford from 1964 until 1979. Wanda was a bookkeeper and had worked, as such, for Allred Oil and Kemp Tractor Company. She is Past President of Women’s Division of Deaf Smith Chamber of Commerce, and the Fine Arts Council. She hand-painted china, which she loved and produced some beautiful pieces of china.

Surviving are one daughter, Kandy Brown of Saginaw, Texas and one granddaughter, Chelsea Walker of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Joel in 1995,

We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021, at the age of 85, Wanda Nell Newman of Hereford, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wanda Nell Newman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Joel Newman. She is survived by : her daughter Kandy Brown of Saginaw; and her granddaughter Chelsea Walker of Amarillo.
