Funeral arrangements are pending with N.S. Griggs & Sons for Mrs Joan Cooper Wilde, 64, of Route 3, a longtime resident of Amarillo.
Mrs. Wilde, a native of Miami, died at 11:05 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Hospital.
Survivors include five sons, E.L. of Rolling Heights, Calif., George of Prescott, Ariz., Robert of Conway, James Boyd of California and Jon C. of the U.S. Army; five daughters, Mrs. Russell Le Desma of New Orleans, Mrs. Cecil Robertson of the home, Mrs. Warren M. Dean Jr. of Huntsbille [sic], Ala., Mrs. D.D. McMahan of Barstow, Calif., and Mrs. Jerry Riley of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Lurene Burgdorf of 114 Valley in Amarillo and Mrs. Janie Williams of Peshastin, Wash., 43 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services for Mrs. Joan Cooper Wilde, 64, of 3 miles east of the Air Base on old U.S. 66, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Gililland Funeral Home at Hereford.
Burial will be in West Park Cemetery at Hereford.
The body will lie in state at N.S. Griggs & Sons in Amarillo until 10 a.m. Friday.
Mrs. Wilde, a native of Miami, Tex., had lived in the Amarillo area all of her adult life. She was the widow of Albert Henry Wilde, who died in 1945.
Survivors include five sons, five daughters, two sisters, 43 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
