HEREFORD - Jess Robinson, 83, died Monday, March 29, 2004.

Mr. Robinson was the vocational agriculture teacher in the Hereford school system for 28 years. He sponsored the Hereford Young Farmers Association. He was past commander of American Legion Post No. 192. He served in the Army in World War II in the 63rd Division Field Artillery.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; four sons, Lee Robinson of Odessa, Otis Robinson of Smithfield, N.C., Jess A. Robinson of Story City, Iowa, and Ira Robinson of Pflugerville; four brothers, Arthur Robinson of Hereford, Cleo Robinson, Leroy Robinson and C.W. Robinson, all of Amarillo; four sisters, Eunice Mathis of Midland, Mary Louise Owen of Lubbock, Olene Jett of Quail, and Shirley Brown of Amarillo; and 13 grandchildren.
