HEREFORD - Bobby Joe "Bob" Walker, 52, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Assembly of God Church in Hereford with the Rev. Mike Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.
Mr. Walker was born Oct. 10, 1953, in Plainview, the son of Ison and Marie Harris Walker. He married Valerie Bridges on March 5, 1991, in Hereford. He was a truck driver for more than 35 years and was employed by Texas Feed Fat Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby Joe Walker Jr.; and a daughter, Stephanie Jo Walker.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Justin Walker of Hart; two grandchildren, Shawn and Selena Walker of Hart; two brothers, Jimmy Walker of Canyon and Jerry Walker of Dimmitt; and a sister, Sandra Bradshaw of Amarillo.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.
