*OBITUARY
HEREFORD - Linda Walker Crews, 35, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Central Church of Christ with the Rev. Tom Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Cemetery by Rix Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Crews was born and raised in Hereford. She graduated from Hereford High School in 1980 and attended West Texas State University for a year.
While in high school, she was a member of the Hereford High School band and the flag corps. She also was a competition twirler.
During junior high, she was a state 4H champion for two years, showing quarter horses. She was a runnerup for Miss Teen Hereford and Miss Hereford.
Mrs. Crews was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her parents, Virgil D. and Naomi Walker of Hereford; her husband, Joe Crews of Amarillo; a brother, Wade Walker of Hereford; and grandmothers, Ormel Lee Walker of Hereford and Gertreude McGee of Shawnee, Okla.
