*Obituary
Funeral services for Isaak Hiebert, age 59 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Church with Pastor Dave Klassen officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Hiebert was born in Mexico on July 6, 1963 to Margareta (Knelsen) and John Hiebert. He married Anna Guenther in Mexico on September 4, 1983. He worked as a farmer, but had a passion for ranching. Isaak was a member of Evangelical Mission Church in Mexico; and was a straightforward man who loved the Lord. He would take the time to talk about the gospel to anyone, and always tried to help other people. His family and grandchildren were very important to him; he prayed over every grandchild on their birthdays. Knowing his children and grandchildren were following the Lord was the most important thing in life to him. Isaak wasn't much of a shopper, but once a year he would buy a new cowboy hat.

Isaak Hiebert passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Odessa Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother and one sister-in-law. He is survived by his wife, Anna Hiebert of Seminole, Texas; two sons, Issac Hiebert and wife Rosalina and Jacob Hiebert and wife Tina, both of Hachita, New Mexico; five daughters, Greta Braun and husband Isaak of Canada, Anny Schmitt and husband Jaime of Seminole, Tina Guenther and husband Abram of Hachita, New Mexico, Martha Thiessen and husband Jacob of Seminole, and Helena Hiebert of Seminole; four brothers, John Hiebert and wife Helena, Peter Hiebert and wife Anna, Jacob Hiebert and wife Annie, and Abram Hiebert and wife Sara, all of Seminole; three sisters, Margaret Reddekop and husband Jacob, Sara Klassen and husband Benny, and Helen Martens and husband John, all of Seminole; and 15 grandchildren.
