Lola Christine Herring, 92, of Andrews passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Andrews.
She was born in Lodi Mississippi, November 20, 1917 to Charles A. Pyron and Minnie L. Hood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Richard Herring, a son, Charles Milton Herring, a daughter-in-law, Elaine Herring, two grandsons, Michael Neal Sealy and Russell Earl Herring, two brothers, Otis Pyron and Charles A. Pyron, Jr., and one sister Mattie McGowan.
She is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Upton of Memphis, Tennessee and Connie Wiggins of Greenwood, Mississippi, one daughter, Jo Ann Sealy of Andrews, Texas, one son, Edward Herring of Midland, Texas, daughter-in0law, Kathy Herring of Littleton, Colorado, five granddaughters, Gayle Schultz and husband John of Houston, Texas, Keri Wientjes and husband Ross of Mound City, South Dakota, Elizabeth Shultz and husband Freidman of Santa Monica, California, Erin Christine Plenis and husband Wil of Denver, Colorado, Kelley Jo Herring of San Diego, California, two grandsons, Andrews Charles Herring of San Diego, California and Todd Richard Herring of Oman, United Arab Emirates and ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 29, 2010 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Rev. Bryan Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
The family request the in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Andrews Senior Center or Home Hospice of Andrews.
