Bobbie Lou Clark, 78, of Friona died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, in Amarillo. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at the New Life Restoration Center in Hereford with Pastor Robert Kerby of Victory Family Worship Center in Friona and Rev. Milford Grisham, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Hereford by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.
Mrs. Clark was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Panhandle, Texas, to Charles Alfred and Ethel Vinie Wellborn Evans. She married Bobby Ray Clark Dec. 29, 1949, in Hereford, where they lived until 1970, at which time they moved to Friona. She was a dedicated woman of faith and family and a member of Victory Family Worship Center in Friona.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Bob Ellis Clark; a grandson, Nathan Thomas Snyder; and two brothers, Frederick Evans and Michael Schwartzlander.
Survivors include four sons, Alan Clark and wife Nita, Steve Clark, Henry Clark and wife Paula, all of Friona, and James Clark and wife Rachel of Amarillo; one daughter, Deborah Snyder and husband John of Edmond, Okla.; six brothers, Billy Joe Evans of South Carolina, Roy Alfred Evans and wife Christine of Hereford, Weldon Edgar Riley of Canyon, Burnia Riley and wife Linda of Hereford, Patrick Ivan Evans of Nebraska and Richard Schwartzlander of Nebraska; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
