*Obituary Nancy Kennemur Hale
Nancy Hale, 67, of Elbow died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 3:00 PM thru 5:00 PM at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 8, 2016 at Trinity Memorial Park. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church.

She was born November 12, 1948 to Dorothy and Noble Kennemur in Big Spring.

Nancy lived most of her life in Big Spring, except for a few years in the Houston area.

She returned to Big Spring in 1992, working at WalMart for fifteen years, retiring from the vision center.

Nancy loved crafts and crocheting, especially afghans with a cross in the middle, which she gave to friends.

Nancy is survived by two brothers: John H. Kennemur and wife Winifred and Danny Kennemur and wife Kay all of Big Spring; a number of nieces and nephews: John Kennemur, Paul Kennemur, Kevin Kennemur, Jason Kennemur, Melissa Kennemur, Sarah Salinas and Bryan Kennemur; great nieces and nephews: Quinton Kennemur, Toby Kennemur, Kendrick Kennemur, Erin Payne, Katelyn Kennemur, Donovan Salinas, Glen Burch, Alanna Salinas, Brady Kennemur, Mia Burch, Emory Kennemur and Ember Kennemur; and her constant companion: Choco.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one great nephew: Nathan Burch.
