Funeral services for Elisabeth Hildebrand, age 54 of Seminole, Texas will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Pastor Isaac Fehr officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Elisabeth Hildebrand was born December 9, 1968 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Eva (Penner) and Heinrich Peters. She married John Hildebrand on June 28, 1987 in Seminole, Texas. Elisabeth was a great encouragement to her family. She was a hard worker, painting and cleaning houses. She loved serving others and preparing food. She also loved having a good time, joking, riding go-karts, and planting flowers. She cherished reading her Bible and listening to Christian messages and songs; she was a great prayer warrior.
Elisabeth Hildebrand passed away on August 14, 2023. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, John Hildebrand; three sons, Peter Hildebrand and wife Lena, Jake Hildebrand, and David Hildebrand and fiancéeArielle Fehr, all of Seminole; one daughter, Judy Enns and husband Jacob of Canada; one brother, Henry Peters and wife Judy of Canada; two sisters, Eva Knelsen and husband Johan, and Anna Klassen and husband Jacob, both of Canada; and five grandchildren, Jayden, Jocelyn, Zion, Azariah, and Olive.
