Mary Jones, 84, of Big Spring, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at her residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born to Eddie and Leona Thomas September 22, 1931 in Granbury, Texas, and married Jack Harold Jones, Sr. January 1, 1955 in Stanton, Texas. He preceded her in death June 1, 1999.

Mary graduated from Stanton High School in 1947 and worked for Retail Merchants of Big Spring for 45 years, retiring in 2000.

She loved to read, was an artist and loved to paint and she and Jack enjoyed woodworking.

Survivors include one daughter, Sherri Kinsey and husband, Terry; a daughter-in-law, Kenda Jones all of Big Spring; three grandchildren, Anna Jones, Jacoby Jones and wife, Chelsey, and Wesley Kinsey; six great-grandchildren, Ashton Beach, Kendal Jones, Micah Jones, Trinity Jones, Jacob Jones and Emma Jones.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jack Harold Jones, Jr.; one grandson, Christopher Savell; three brothers, Roscoe Thomas, Bernard Thomas and Jack Thomas; and one sister, Emma Bickley.

The family suggests memorials to Home Hospice, 111 E. 7th St., Suite A, Big Spring, Texas 79720 or to the American Cancer Society Memorial Program, % Vicki Stewart, 6 Coachmans Circle, Big Spring, Texas.
