Funeral Set

Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the River Chapel for William Roy McDaniel, who died about 7 p.m. at his home, 206 NW 3rd. He was 70.

Mr. McDaniel was born Jan. 27, 1891, in Atoka, Okla. but had been a resident of this area for 42 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

On Jan. 21, 1911, he was married to Florence Davis in Oklahoma. She survives him as do two sons, Willie McDaniel, Big Spring, Roy McDaniel, Odessa; four daughters, Mrs. Aaron Goolsby, Big Spring, Mrs. Cicil Thixton, Big Spring, Mrs. George Coots, Big Spring, Mrs. Jeff Hamilton, Odessa; two sisters, Mrs. Cordie Brown, Coahoma, Mrs. Lula Payne, Crystal City; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
