Ila Blanche Moore, 87, of Big Spring, died Friday, December 6, 2013 in a local hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
She was born August 1, 1926 in Stephenville, Texas and married Ronald E. "Mutt" Moore July 26, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death March 10, 2008.
She was a longtime resident of Big Spring and was the snack bar manager at Runnels Junior High School for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Tonia Moore Ollerton and husband, Jim of Uvalde; one son, Jerry Dale Moore and wife, Tashia of Big Spring; three sisters, Wanda Wells of Ft. Worth, Sybil Willborn of Brownwood and Jessie Dillingham if Granbury; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess A. and Mattie Cowden Lawson; one brother, Ervin Lawson; one sister, Bernice Lawson and one step-daughter, Cynthia Kay Watts.
