*Obituary Nell Grace Hart Parker
Nell Grace Hart Parker, 89, of Big Spring, died Monday, November 25, 2013 in a local nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church with Brother Jeff Harris, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

Nell Grace Hart Parker, was born March 8,1924 to Clarence C. and Ada Conaway Hart in the Conaway Community near Westbrook in Mitchell County, Texas. She graduated from Westbrook High School, attended Draughn's Business College and completed beauty school at Howard County Junior College. She was owner and operator of Nell's Beauty Shop and retired in 1986 after 30 years in the business. She married Leo Parker in 1942 and they were married for 57 plus years. He preceded her in death September 19, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Olen Hart, Dolores Palmer, Annie Fairchild and John (Buster) Hart. She was a member of the Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church and the Happy Crafters Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Dolores and Marco Westmoreland of Hillsboro, and Dena Howard of Big Spring; grandchildren Shay, Jamie and Karsyn Howard of Platt City, Missouri, Mark, Katie, and Madison Nell Westmoreland of Hillsboro, Leigh Ann, David, and Adrian Grace Ussery of Liberty Hill; Pattie, O'Brian, and Matthew Blakeney of Big Spring, Nicholas Acquaro of Bryan, Justin Ussery of Lubbock, Dakota Ussery of Austin, Cole, Lynn and Charli Rogers of Midland and several nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Nell's adopted family at Parkview Nursing and Rehab and to the 3rd Floor Nurses at Scenic Mountain Medical Center for their loving care.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church, 201 East 21st Street, Big Spring, TX 79720, or to the donor's charity of choice.
