Emma Jo Pitts Ringener, 86, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in an Abilene hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

She was born September 30, 1928 in Paris, Texas and married John Thomas Pitts May 21, 1955 in Paris, Texas. He preceded her in death September 14, 1996.

She then married J. C. Ringener January 8, 2000 and he preceded her in death August 14, 2007.

Emma came to Big Spring in 1956 and worked as a beautician for a number of years. She also owned and operated the Jumbo Cafe for many years.

Survivors include two daughters, Delores Perkins and husband, Earnest of Ft. Stockton and Tina Gray and husband, Troy Gray of Abilene; one sister, Louise Hyden of Big Spring; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jerry Anderson; one granddaughter; and a great-grandchild.
