*Obituary Luene Anderson Robinson
Madrid Luene Anderson Robinson, 92, of Statesville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Brian Center of Statesville.

She was born Nov. 12, 1920, in Slaton, Lubbock County, Texas and was the daughter of the late William Jesse and Dolly Mae Barnett Anderson.

Before relocating to Statesville in 1996, she was a longtime resident of Big Spring, Texas, where she was a legal secretary for 33 years for John A. Coffee firm and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Robinson, whom she married April 8, 1939; and a son, Floyd Neil Robinson, of Houston.

Luene is survived by her daughter, Dorothy "Dottie" Westmoreland, of Statesville; a daughter-in-law, Dolly Schacter, of Houston, Texas; a granddaughter, Robi Gladden, of Statesville; two grandsons, Drew (Angela) Robinson and Ben Robinson, of Houston, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Tommy (Andrea) Gladden, of Granite Falls, Chris Gladden, of Lenior and Julia Gladden, of Statesville; and three great-great-grandchildren, Danielle and Gabrielle Gladden, of Taylorsville and Abigail Grace Gladden, of Granite Falls.

Services and interment will be held at a later date at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas.
