*Obituary Mary Sue White Robinson
Mary Sue Robinson, 81, of Ackerly, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park, Big Spring. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mary was born June 14, 1934 in Big Spring, Texas and married Mitchell Robinson August 1, 1959 in Big Spring, Texas.

They farmed and raised cattle in the Knott area. Her love for cattle began early and she showed cattle nationwide, winning once in Chicago. She served locally and state wide as a 4-H Adult Leader.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Knott where she was a treasurer and Sunday School Teacher.

Mary is survived by her three sons, Kent Robinson of Knott, Scott Robinson and wife, Leslie of Tarzan, and Lance Robinson and wife, Leslea of Ackerly; three grandchildren, Lauren, Zane, and Sloan Robinson; and one sister, Ann Bond of College Station.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Robinson; parents, Floyd Thomas and Vaughnea Elizabeth (Williams) White; and one brother, Jimmie C. White.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Heritage Museum, 510 Scurry Street, Big Spring, TX 79720 or a charity of choice. The family would also like to thank the staff at Big Spring Center for Skilled Care for their love and support.
