*When Carlton Clifford "Tex" Dagen was born on February 19, 1927, in Junction, Texas, his father, John, was 30 and his mother, Lottie, was 35. He married Barbara Jean Westbrook in 1950 in Texas. They had two children during their marriage. He died on August 6, 1993, in Brady, Texas, at the age of 66.
