Funeral services for William Penn Anderson, 93, who died Sunday, May 1, in the Wichita Falls Bethania Hospital, were held on Tuesday, May 3, at 2:00 p.m. in the James B. Totten and Son Memorial Chapel. Officiating was Rev. N.E. Hosch, pastor of the United Pentecostal Church of Electra. Burial followed in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home.

Anderson, who was born on May 25, 1883. in Franklin County, Arkansas, had been a resident of Electra for 7 years, moving here from Frederick, Oklahoma. He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include four sons; William Anderson of Electra, J.T. Anderson, of Ontario, California, Ray Anderson, of Henderson, Nevada, and Marion Anderson of Electra; one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Guthrie of Mena, Arkansas; one sister, Mrs. Dora Richardson of Mena, Arkansas; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren._

Mrs. William P. (Ethel) Anderson, 78, a resident of the Frederick, Okla., area, since 1959, died Monday night, Nov. 4, in a Weatherford, Texas, hospital after a long illness.

She was born Nov. 1, 1890, in Kentucky, and moved to Frederick in 1959 from Marietta, Okla. She was a member of the Apostalic Faith Church of Frederick.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, from the United Pentecostal Church, Electra, with Rev. A.L. Kennedy, pastor of the Gospel Temple, Vernon, officiating, assisted by Rev. Don Hodgson of Electra.

Burial was in Electra Cemetery under direction of Dalton-McLellan Funeral Home of Frederick.

Survivors include her husband, William P. Anderson, Frederick; five sons, Elmer and Marion, both of Electra, J.T. of Ontario, Calif., Roy L. of Henderson, Nev., and Marvin of Vernon; four sisters, Mrs. Dawson Lillie and Mrs. Bill Bates both of Mena, Ark., Mrs. Lula Parker of Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Lena Davis of San Francisco, Calif.; two brothers, Alson Wallace of Hot Springs, Ark., and Ted Wallace, Pittsburgh, Kansas, 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren._
