SEMINOLE — Jennie Lucretia Pevey Anderson, 72, of Seminole passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005, in Seminole Memorial Health Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 10 a.m. CDT in the M.S. Doss Community Chapel with the Rev. David Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gaines County Memorial Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
Jennie was born Nov. 3, 1932, in Cherokee, Okla. She married Tommy Anderson June 27, 1997, in Seminole, Texas.
She had been office manager for Western Auto Store in Hobbs, N.M., for 21 years. She was a former member of American Business Women of America and Tumbleweed Grandmothers Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William White; and her second husband, Robert Pevey.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Anderson of Seminole; one son, William White Jr.; two daughters, Cindy Dickerson of Hobbs, N.M., and Mary White of Hobbs, N.M.; one brother, James E. Noble of St. Augustine, Fla.; two sisters, Jane Mathis of Wichita, Kan., and Polly Jean Lathrop of Claremore, Okla.; three stepchildren, David Anderson of Seminole, Texas, Jody Anderson of Seminole, Texas, and Mika Ryan of Vancouver, Can.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Chad Bishop, Cory White, William White III, John White, David Anderson and Jody Anderson.
