Memorial services for Milton Ray Anderson, age 72 of Seminole, Texas will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at West Side Church of Christ with Brother Leo Copeland officiating and Chris Jones and Carl Anderson assisting. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home. Family visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Boyer Funeral Home from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Milton Ray Anderson, born November 21, 1944, died peacefully at his nursing home in Midland, Texas on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the age of 72. Milton was born in Stanton, Texas to Raymond and Elsie Anderson.

He graduated from Seminole High School in 1964. He briefly attended Sul Ross State University, served in the Army for a few years, and then began his career as a cotton farmer in Gaines County. He would later move to Stanton, Texas and work as a Lease Operator (Pumper) in Martin County. He eventually moved back to Seminole, and retired from Gaines County. He enjoyed playing 42 Dominoes, watching his children and grandchildren participate in sporting events, and his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elsie Anderson; brother, Carl Eugene Anderson; two sisters, Mary Wanda Anderson and Glynda Sue Hawkins; and step-grandson, Christopher Michael Perry.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Camelia (Millie) Anderson; one brother, Wayne Anderson and wife Melba of Victor, Montana; four sons, John Anderson and wife Rosa of Bolivar, Missouri, Carl Anderson and wife Melissa of Midland, Texas, Steven Anderson of Devine, Texas, and Kevin Anderson of May, Texas; two daughters, Michelle Anderson of Brownwood, Texas and Robin June and husband Clay of Kingwood, Texas; and one stepson, Joe Perry of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and nine grandchildren, from the oldest to the youngest: Wyatt Anderson, Virginia Anderson, Charity Anderson, Brooklyn Anderson, Payton Anderson, Caleb Anderson, Patrick Barstow, McKlintock June, and Zakaria June.
