Obie Davis, 89 of Omaha, died Tuesday, August 22, 1995. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 24 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Naples with the Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery at Omaha. Mr. Davis was born July 5, 1906, at Omaha. He was a retired Exxon dealer, a veteran of World War II, a Mason for over 50 years, and a member of the Baptist Church. He was a former resident of Chapel Hill, N. C. but had made his home at Omaha for the past 13 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Mickie Moore Davis. Survivors include one sister, Lura Walker of Omaha; two sisters-in-law, Lorene Davis and Maxine Davis, both of Omaha; two nieces Kay Hawkins of Huntsville, and Sarah Jane Moreland of Omaha; a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Clayton, J. T. Clayton, Frank Clayton, Rudolph Jones, J. L. Waits and Toby Culver. (Row 1 NW)
