Funeral services for Eva Fehr, age 65 of Seminole, Texas will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Pastor Henry Martens officiating and Pastor John Fehr assisting. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fehr was born January 3, 1953 in Mexico to Helena (Voth) and Jacob Friesen. She married John Fehr on October 7, 1973. She was a member of Sommerfeld Mennonite Church and a homemaker. She loved music and enjoyed playing various types of instruments. She also enjoyed being outdoors gardening, and playing the game “WaHoo.” Eva loved reading her bible and being with her grandchildren.

Eva Fehr passed away at her home in Seminole on October 3, 2018. She is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by husband, John Fehr of Seminole, Texas; two sons, Adolfo Fehr and wife Melissa and Jacob Fehr and wife Lisa, all of Seminole, Texas; six daughters, Anna Froese and husband Ben of Stanton, Texas, Helena Neufeld and husband Peter,Esther Froese and husband Abe, Tina Thiessen and husband Aaron, Sara Harms and husband Abe, all of Seminole, Texas, and Eva Holdridge and husband Waylon of Deleon, Texas; nine brothers, Johan Friesen and wife Eva, Peter Friesen and wife Eva, Willy Friesen and wife Tina, Jacob Friesen and wife Anna, Diedrich Friesen and wife Helena, Franz Friesen and wife Lisa, all of Mexico, Hein Friesen and wife Martha and Abram Friesen and wife Patty, both of Seminole Texas, and Ben Friesen and wife Sara of Canada; four sisters, Maria Fehr and husband Corny, Helena Duech and husband Toby, both of Seminole, Texas, Tina Loewen and husband Heinry of Mexico, and Martha Stoesz and husband Johan of Canada; and 26 grandchildren.
