DENVER CITY — Services for Melba Louise Berry Williams, 79, of Denver City will be at 4 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with Gene Benningfield officiating and the Rev. Bob Webb assisting.

Burial will be in Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. She died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002.

She was born March 8, 1922, in Vashti and married W.C. "Dub" Williams on Aug. 6, 1943, in Bowie. He died Jan. 15, 1984. She owned Carpenter Oil Field Construction and was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Don of Frisco and Richard Delaney and Samuel Wallace, both of Denver City; a daughter, Sandra Sue Thompson of Denver City; a brother, Andy Berry Jr. of Bowie; two sisters, Billie L. Black of Blossom and Betty Thomas of Nocona; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Source: Ratliff Funeral Home.
