Graveside Services for Isaac Thiessen Peters, 85 of Seminole were held Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
He passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in Andrews.
Isaac was born on January 1, 1935 in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua Mexico to Abram and Anna Thiessen Peters. He married Katharina Kroeker Froese on September 22, 1957. Isaac moved to Seminole February 14, 1977 where he farmed and ranched before entering the nursing home. He attended the Mennonite Evangelical Church. He loved his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, he also loved to read and always kept up with world events.
Isaac is preceded in death by his wife Katharina on November 24, 2016, a son Abram Peters on July 6, 2013, and an infant daughter Eva.
Isaac is survived by his six children Beth Peters Klassen, Ann Peters, Frank Peters and his wife Susan, Tina Penner and her husband Pete, Isaac Peters and his wife Susie, and John Peters and his wife Nettie; daughter-in-law Nancy Peters; along with eighteen grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
