MRS G. W. MALONE DIES IN CAMERON TUESDAY

Mrs. G. W. Malone, 64, died Tuesday evening July 21, 1942, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Annie Kirk, in Cameron.
Mrs. Malone had been critically ill for some time but her condition became more serious on Sunday when little hope was held for improvement.
She was a native of Louisiana, came to Texas at the age of 4 years, and had made her home in the Liberty community until recent years when she lived near Cameron and of late had spent most of her time in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kirk.
Funeral services were to be held at 5:30 p. m. at the Tabernacle at the Liberty Church with interment in Liberty Cemetery. Rev. C. W. Sanders, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Cameron, conducted the funeral services and arrangements were directed by the Green Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, G. W. Malone, five sons, Elmer, Walter, Eric and Wesley Malone all of Cameron; five daughters, Mrs. Homer Shafer of Humble; Mrs. Alvin Black of Houston; Mrs. Cass Walden of Houston; Mrs. Wright Price and Mrs. Anna Kirk of Cameron. One brother, W. J. Woods of Cameron and one sister Mrs. D. C. Cave of Vickery, also survive.
