MRS. FRANK THOMAS BURIED AT GAUSE
Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Thomas, 88, were held Wednesday in the Methodist church at Gause by Rev. Whitfield, pastor of the Hearne Methodist church, officiating.
Mrs. Thomas died at 8 p. m. Tuesday, February 3, 1944, at her home in Gause.
Mrs. Thomas had been a resident of Gause for 65 years. She was a native of Arkansas, September 15, 1855. Her husband died at Gause in 1911. She was a devoted member of the Christian church.
Surviving are one son, Roger Thomas of Gause and one daughter, Mrs. Don V. Moore of Crystal City, Texas. Six grand children and 10 great grand children survive.
Beaver Thomas of Cameron is one of the surviving grand sons.
