SPEARMAN - Funeral services for Delon Kirk, 77, of Spearman, who died at 1:50 a.m. Friday in the Abraham Memorial Home at Canadian, will be at 3 p.m. today in the First United Methodist Church here.
Rev. H.O. Abbott, Jr., pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Holt Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Mr. Kirk was born in Earth County and had lived in the Spearman area since 1900. He was a retired farmer and stockman.
He was a member of the Spearman IOOF Lodge for the past 50 years, and had served on the board of directors of the Hansford County Farm Bureau.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Spearman.
He married Margaret Locke in 1919 at Lorena.
Surviving are his widow; a daughter Mrs. Martha Delon Allison of Spearman; four brothers, Buster of Borger, Raymond of Spearman, A.D. of Marble Falls and Herbert of Stinnett; three sisters, Mrs. I.V. Duncan and Mrs. C.W. Stowell, both of Pampa, and Mrs. Dudley Faver of Denver; and one grandchild.
