DUMAS - Mrs. Mary Eleanor Mowery, 87, died Thursday.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Frank Perry, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Mowery had been a resident of Moore County since 1904 and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was Moore County Librarian from 1942 to 1957.

Surviving are five sons, Joe Pat, Kenneth, and Clyde, all of Dumas, Robert of Denver, Colo., and W.C. of San Diego, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Lois Mills, Mrs. Hazel Haile, both of Dumas, Mrs. Lorena Haile of Amarillo, Mrs. Winnie Shuss of Denver, and Mrs. Ruby Lee Simer of Monahans; two sisters, Mrs. Richard Groves of Stinnett and Mrs. Marshall Thompson of Waco; 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 306 Cedar.
