Mrs. Adelle Parks, 73 years old, former Stinnett resident, died last night at Waco, Texas, after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Parks lived in Stinnett for thirty years, taking up resident in 1904 and moving to Marlin in 1934. She had resided at Waco for the past years.

Mrs. Parks is the mother of fourteen children, eleven of them living. Mr. Parks died in 1918.

The surviving children are: H.N. Parks and Mrs. W.W. Windon [sic] of Clifton, Texas; Mrs. Ada Chapman of Mississippi; Mrs. Davie Marable of Ft. Stockton; Mrs. Ida Marable and Miss Alma Parks of Waco; Mrs. Nora Groves and Mrs. Eleanor Mowery of Stinnett; A.I. "Buddy" Parks of Pringle; Joe Parks and Roscoe Parks of Morse.

The Rev. Cecil Tune of Stinnett and the Rev. E.J. Norman of Wellington will conduct the services tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Pringle School. Following burial will be in Leib cemetery.
