MRS. ANNIE E. TUCKER DIES EARLY FRIDAY

Mrs. Annie E. Tucker, 70 died Friday morning at her home near Jones Prairie.
For the past four years, Mrs. Tucker had been in critical health and during the past five weeks her condition had grown steadily worse.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Lee County in 1870. When she was twenty years of age, the family moved to Thorndale where they lived for twenty-eight years. She was married at Thorndale and moved to Jones Prairie with her husband where they lived for the past twenty-two years. She was the mother of five children, three boys and two girls.
She is survived by her husband and the children are as follows: Emma Tucker of Jones Prairie who lived with her mother, Julius and William Tucker both of Corsicana, Mrs. Mamie Worley of Thorndale, and Theo Tucker of Jones Prairie. Also surviving are fourteen grand children and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held in Thorndale cemetery Saturday.
