Funeral services for C.C. Cannon, 83, who died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital, are pending with Simpson Funeral Home.

Mr. Cannon had been a resident of Borger 27 years. He was a Baptist.

Surviving are three sons, C.E. Cannon of 412 Monroe, Burl of Lawton, Oklahoma, Cecil C. of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Mrs. Ray Sears, Comanche, Okla., Mrs. Margaret Webb, Mangum, Okla., Mrs. John Hunter, Irvin; brothers, Jasper, of Addington, Okla.; 18 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mammie Elzy Cannon, 77, area resident since 1943, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday from East Side Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Hunter of Irving as officiating minister. The Rev. J.D. Gilmore, pastor of Riverview Baptist Church, will assist.

Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Simpson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cannon died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in North Plains Hospital. A resident of Fritch, Mrs. Cannon was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are the husband, Christopher C. Cannon of Fritch; three sons, Calvin E. of Borger, Burl of Lawton, Okla., Cecil of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Mrs. Viola Sears, Comanche, Okla., Mrs. Margaurite Webb, Mangum, Okla., Mrs. Wanda Hunter, Irving.

Three sisters, Mrs. Dora Johnson, of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Valley Murrey, Wellington, Mrs. Dessie Dehart, Hillsboro; and 17 grandchildren, also survive.

Casketbearers are Willie Cannon, Lonnie Woodroff, Oscar Golden, J.M. Mitchell, Cleo Gallop, and Paul Acker.
