Funeral services for Henry R. Chambers, 81, of Leisure Lodge, were at 11 a.m. today in Minton Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. Lyman Wood, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Chambers died Friday morning at the nursing home.
A retired custodian, Mr. Chambers was a native of Illinois, and a Fritch resident for 11 years.
Mr. Chambers was a Methodist.
Survivors are one daughter, Dorothy Strasia of Fritch; two sons, Donald of San Angelo, and Neal of Kiene, and one sister, Miss Carrie Chambers of Trenton, Mo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Irene, who died earlier this year, and his brother, Roy, who died in 1979.

FRITCH - Services for Hazel Irene Chambers, 73, of 902 S. Robey, were at 11 a.m. today in Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger with the Rev. Lyman Paul Wood, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Borger, officiating.
Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Chambers died at 2 p.m. Saturday in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
A native of Laredo, Mo., she had been a Fritch resident for 10 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Henry; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Strasia of Fritch; two sons, Donald of San Angelo and Neal of Keene; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Olive Searcey of Trenton, Mo.; one brother, Emery Ishmael of Laredo, Mo., eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her brother, Layton Ishmael.
