*Obituary for Roy
Masonic graveside services for Roy Jackson Collins 56, of Kenai, Alaska, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Westlawn Memorial Park.

The services will be under the auspices of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge.

The Rev. Roy Williams of Alaska will officiate. Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A former Borgan, Mr. Collins died Friday in Kenai, where he had lived since December 1978. He was a native of Plainview.

Mr. Collins was a district supervisor for Phillips Petroleum Co., a veteran of World War II, member of Gruver Masonic Lodge, 32nd degree Mason, a Gideon, and a Shriner.

Survivors are his wife, Leola; one daughter, Mrs. Cathy Proffitt of Borger; two sons, Jack of Maine; and Rod of Germany; one brother, Vernon of Borger; one sister, Mrs. Betty Ross of Wichita Falls; and eight grandchildren.

Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge will be open at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Leola "Mur" Collins, 89, of Canyon died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Cemetery in Borger with Cody Drake officiating. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Leola was born May 1, 1923, in Plainview to Oscar Miller Seal and Euphemia Hines. She married Roy Collins in November 1946.

She enjoyed spending time with family and reading the her Bible. She was the family "prayer warrior." She was loved and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Jacky Roy Collins and Rodney J. Collins; a grandson, Christopher Collins; a sister, Thelma Jones; and two brothers, Raymond Seal and Sonny Seal.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Collins of Canyon; a sister, Sylvia Gillilan of Rockwall; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 6600 Killgore Drive, Suite 110, Amarillo, TX 79106.
