*Obituary
BORGER - J.C. Hopper, 48, of 4150 4th, Philview, died at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital.

A longtime resident of the Tri-Cities area, he was employed by Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a member of Buna Vista Baptist Church and Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Simpson Funeral Home.

Surviving are his wife Evelyn; sons, Ronnie of Borger and Waudell of Albuquerque; a daughter, Tonya of the home; a brother, Cyrus Hopper of Garland, and sisters, Mrs. Hazel Whitlock of Denton, Mrs. Norene Meadows of Fort Worth and Miss Jewel Hopper of Fort Worth.
