Mrs. King was born on June 22, 1912 in Marshall. She had been a Borger resident since 1954. She married John Henry King on Mar. 3, 1954 in Borger, and he preceded her in death in 1986. She was a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was BTU president, Sunday School teacher, Mission vice-president and choir president at Church.

Her survivors include two daughters - Johnnie M. Roberts of Long Beach, Calif., Kay Lackey of Los Angeles, Calif., 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
