FRITCH - Charles David "Chic" McDonald, 72, died Friday, June 11, 1993 in his home.
Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m. today at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Chiz Stevens, associate pastor of Morning Star Fellowship, officiating.
Burial was by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Jolly, he had been a Fritch resident since 1969 moving from Borger. He was a pipefitter welder, a World War II veteran receiving the Purple Heart, and member of Morning Star Fellowship in Stinnett.
He married Videll Gable July 2, 1938 in Borger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a granddaughter, Chardonna Gay Wesson.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. A.G. "Charlene" Sherwood and Mrs. Phil "Gay" Adamie, both of Borger; and Mrs. Paul "Linda" Wesson of Childersburg, Ala.; a brother, Lloyd McDonald of Chattanooga, Ten.; three sisters, Grace Barrett and Billie Morrow, both of Borger; and Faye Morrow of Odessa; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
