Funeral services for Jim McDonald, 61, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of God, Franklin Street, with the Rev. W.L. Shires officiating. Burial will be in the local cemetery, under the direction of the Minton Funeral Home.

McDonald, who died about 6:30 p.m. Monday at his home, 702 East Sixth Street, had been a resident of Borger since 1928.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Reeves, Mrs. Faye Morrow, Mrs. Billie Morrow and Mrs. Grace Barrett, all of Borger; two sons, Lloyd and C.D., both of Borger; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill McCrate and Colley George of Pampa, Dal Musser, Paul Conney, E.L. Burton of Borger, and E.F. Wells.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Velma Hankins, 78, of 702 E. Sixth, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Franklin Street Church of God with the Rev. W.R. Collins, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. Hankins, a resident of Borger since 1928, died at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.

She was born Feb. 22, 1898 in Midlothian. She was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Joe of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Reeves, Mrs. Grace Barrett and Mrs. Billie Morrow, all of Borger and Mrs. Faye Morrow of Odessa; two sons, C.D. McDonald of Fritch and L.A. McDonald of Minnesota.

Also, two stepsons, Del Ray Hankins of Pennsylvania and Joe Richard Hankins Jr. of LaJunta, Colo.; four sisters, Mrs. M.C. Martin of Pampa, Mrs. Raymond McDonald of Borger, Mrs. Maudie Meadows of California and Mrs. Rex Thompson of Electra; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Casketbearers will be Bruce Ferguson, Roy Ferguson, Danny Wolfe, Ricky Wolfe, Howard Aylor and Bob Ringo.
