*Obituary
BORGER - Joe Walter Moore, 80, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Riverview Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, and the Rev. Ricky Griffin, pastor of First Baptist Church of Sanford, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Moore was a stock and blending operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 38 years. He was a board member of Local Union 351 and Phillips golf course.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Moore of Denver and Raymond Moore of Borger; two daughters, April Thompson and Sylvia Witt, both of Borger; a brother, John Sledge of Sapula, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
