*Obituary
Almedia Purcell, 65, died today at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Mrs. Purcell had been a resident of Borger for 35 years. She was born Jan. 23, 1913 at Hood Tex.
She was a member of the Phillips United Methodist Church and was a member of the Borger Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 811.
Mrs. Purcell was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers.
Surviving are three nephews, Cloyce of Pilot Point, Tex., and Royce and Tommy, both of Borger; and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. J.T. Purcell of San Jose, Calif. and Mrs. Henry Purcell of Borger.
Services are pending with Minton Mortuary.
