BORGER - Marjorie "Jo" Purcell, 81, died Monday, June 15, 2009, in Amarillo
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Purcell was born Feb. 5, 1928, in Quanah to James and Verdie Landers. She married Gene Purcell on Dec. 6, 1974.
She is survived by three sons, Jeff Pickard of Borger, Mike Pickard of Blanchard, Okla., and David Pickard of Burleson; a stepson, Terry Purcell of Omaha, Neb.; a stepdaughter, Pam Marion of Oklahoma City; a brother, James Landers of Borger; a sister, Doris Fergeson of Borger; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great great-grandchild.
