Funeral services for Jack L. Thompson, 85, Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Burress, pastor First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Thompson died at 6:18 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 1994 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A native of New Kirk, Okla., he had been a Borger resident since 1927. He was a retired owner and operator of Thompson Oil Co., and was a welder and pumper. He was a member of Meredith Gun Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth in 1982, and a son, Jack L. Thompson, Jr., in 1979.
Survivors include a son, Wallace Thompson of Borger; a daughter, Betty Riley of Amarillo; 8 grand-children; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be staying at 514 Jackson.
