*Obituary
Elizabeth Marie Thompson, 71, of 600 E. Third Street, died at 3:26 p.m. Sunday.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Minton Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. Lyman Paul Wood, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Thompson, a native of Hurst, was a Borger pioneer. She had lived in Borger for 53 years and was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her son Jack Thompson Jr. in 1979. Suvivors include her husband, Jack L.; one son Wallace of Borger; one daughter, Mrs. Charles "Betty" Riley of Amarillo; two sisters, Mabel Wittmeyer and Alma O. Cushing both of Atascadero, Calif.; one brother, Russell Brown of Ponca City, Okla.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
